당신은 이 나라에 대해 들어본 일이 있습니까?

이 나라는 다른나라에 의해 식민지배를 36간이나 받았었습니다. 

1950년대 이 나라는 전쟁으로 인해 완전 파괴되었습니다. 

1950년대 그 나라의 국민소득이 미화 50달러로서 세계에서 가장 가난한 나라들 중 하나였습니다.

1950년에 이나라를 돕기위해 온 미국의 맥아더 장군은 다름과 같이 말했습니다. " 이나라가 전쟁피해로 부터 다시 재건하는 데는 100여년이 걸릴 것이다"라고 말입니다.  또 어느 영자 신문에 의하면 " 다른 나라에의해 36년간이나 지배를 받아온  이 나라가 다시 일어선다는 것은 쓰레기 더미에서 꽃을 피우기를 바라는 것이 더 나을 것" 이라고 했습니다. 

1950년대에 가나와 필리핀의 국민소득이 미화100달러와 200달러를 넘어섰는데 비해, 이나라는 미화 67달러 이었습니다.

During the 1950s Ghana and Philippine’s national income surpassed $100 and $200, while the national income of this country became $67.
